Trondhjems Studentersangforening
About Us
Trondhjems Studentersangforening (TSS) is the nation's second oldest male choir and the city's second oldest fraternity after Samfundet itself. Despite its age, TSS today consists of about 75 young men and has a varied repertoire of songs. This repertoire includes Norwegian, Swedish and Finnish drinking songs, folk songs and Monty Python songs, as well as larger sacred works and classic prunes. The latter is especially true when we put on our tuxedos and attend the opening of UKA. This very same work outfit is also used when TSS occupies Storsalen for artistic performances on Saturday meetings, or a few times each semester when we hold a concert at specially designated locations.
