Vortex NTNU

Vortex NTNU is a technical organization consisting of students from all kinds of backgrounds.
Within the field of maritime robotics, we design, create and use vehicles both above and below
the surface. We use these vehicles to compete and try to win technical competitions. There we
get to test what we build against other teams both around in Norway, and outside the country.
RoboSub in the USA and TAC in Stavanger are some of the places where we compete.
A member in Vortex NTNU may work on lots of different types of work. From creating
autonomous systems for our vehicles and real time image processing, physical design and
electronics, to less technical subjects such as marketing and administration. Our projects give
all our members the opportunity to dive deeper than just the surface!
