YATA Trondheim

YATA (Yout Atlantic Treaty Association) is a network for students, cadets and young professionals with an interest in foreign, defense and security policy. Our aim is to give our members increased knowledge on these topics, as well as the opportunity to build a network and develop their career within the field. YATA har branches around Europe where YATA Norway is the Norwegian branch. YATA Norway is a politically independent organisation. This means that we have no connection to political parties or sponsors. YATA works to give Norway´s young and future leaders in foreign, defense and security policy a good basis for making reflected decisions. Knowledge and discussion are the goal in everything we do. 

 

Activities we usually do: YATA Trondheim works to achieve these goals by organizing professional and social events throughout the year. This involves excursions, seminars, lectures and other meetings for like-minded young people who are interested in foreign, defence and security policy. We usually organize one event a month in Trondheim.
