About Us

Do you need a break from computer screens and University books? Want to be outside and maybe dig in the dirt? Join an event in Trondheim Student Garden!

We are a community garden for students located at Lerkendal, about a 10 minute walk from Gløshaugen. During events throughout year we cultivate the Garden together, as well as having social events. Often we will have waffles, tea or hot cocoa at the events -cooked over the fire.

In Trondheim Student Garden there are no requirements for participating at events, no need for previous gardening experience, and all events are free.

The Garden itself is open for students at all times, if you wish to go there to study, do some gardening work or just hang with friends. But we hope to see you at events as well!

• Pre-cultivating seeds in early spring

• Planting

• Weeding

• Harvesting

• DIYs, like fixing the woodshed or building birdhouses

• Harvesting seaweed

• Hiking trips

• Garden Days

• Barbecues

• Campfire get-togethers
