Det Historiske Selskab

Det Historiske Selskab, or DHS for short, is a student union mainly for history students at NTNU, although others are always welcome. We in DHS aims at giving students a common meeting ground, through a variety of events, both social and educational. Our events range from quizzes and social get-togethers to more educational lectures from professors at the university, lecturing on topics they have worked on, which often falls outside the curriculum of the history courses offered at NTNU. With these events, and many more, we aim to offer history students a place to meet outside of the study setting, and to help build a better community amongst students at our study programs.

We are a member-based student organization, and although being a member is not a requirement for participation, it does have the added benefit of discounts on certain events, and free participation on the likes of quizzes. For the whole school year our membership cost is 250NOK.
